My name is Cristina Torres and I am a senior studying Biological Sciences with a concentration in genetics, genomics, and development and minoring in Latinx studies in the College of Arts & Science. I started in the Feschotte lab the summer of 2022 as part of the CHAMPS program. I work with Dr. Krista Angileri, focusing on the role of piwil2 in zebrafish retinal development. Outside of the lab I like reading, writing for the Cornell Daily Sun (science section), and hanging out with my friends!
