I was born in Hebei, China, and began my academic journey studying embryonic stem cells. During my PhD studies, I shifted my focus to transposable elements. My previous research centered on the regulation and function of transposable elements in embryonic development, including studies on both mice and humans. Now, I am embarking on a new journey at Cornell University, eager to explore the functions of transposable elements from various perspectives!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my lovely daughter. Together, we are excited to discover all that Ithaca has to offer!
